Boundaries
Boundaries for participation in Little League (ages 6-12) are 59th Street
to 120th Street, from Central Park West to Riverside Drive. Players who
live outside of these boundaries who did not play in the WSLL prior to
1996 should contact the Little League in their area for more information.
We accept players from outside of those boundaries for Junior League (13-14),
Senior League (15-18), Softball and Challenger divisions.
Registration
REGISTRATION for the West Side Little League Spring 2010 season is now CLOSED
REGISTRATION for the West Side Little League Spring 2010 season opened TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1st, 2009 and closed on SUNDAY, JANUARY 31st, 2010.
REGISTRATION for the West Side Little League Spring 2010 season, CHALLENGER DIVISION only, closed on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22nd, 2010.
Player assignment is at the discretion of the Division Heads, who aim to create balanced teams and to encourage competitive play. We do not as a rule accomodate specific placement requests. If you are in a division that plays both Saturday and Sunday games, and you know at this time that there is only one day on the weekend that your child can play, you can indicate this on the registration form. However, we cannot guarantee placement for players who can only play one day. Players who anticipate missing more than 2 games SHOULD NOT register for WSLL. If any player does register and misses more than 2 games, rules about player usage WILL NOT APPLY to that player. If any player misses one game without notifying their Coach at least 24 hours in advance, rules about player usage WILL NOT APPLY to that player. Returning players who register ON TIME AND ON LINE are given priority over new players, and over returning players who register late.
