Fall 2025 Age Divisions:

AGE GUIDELINES FOR PLAYERS: When you register, your child will automatically be placed in accordance with the Little League Age Division parameters. Please see the Little League Baseball Division Age Charts. For some returning players who played either above or below their age group in the past, we will make any necessary changes AFTER registration.

DIVISIONS and AGE GROUPS:

This fall we will be registering players in Co-Ed Baseball and Girls Softball. There is no Challengers Special Needs program in the Fall.
Please Note: When you register your child, you will be offered only the age division as determined by your child’s birthdate, as shown in the list below. But if your child played in a division either above or below their age group in the past, your Division Head will let us know and we will make any necessary adjustments AFTER registration closes.

REQUESTS:
WSLL does not guarantee that team, teammate or coach requests will be fulfilled. Any request must be MUTUAL between ALL parties. If you are requesting that your child play with a friend, be sure that the friend requests your child as well.
1. Teammate Requests. Please provide the full name of the teammate you are requesting.
2. Coach Requests. Please provide the full name of the coach you are requesting.
3. Team Request. Please provide both the team’s name AND the name of the Division

This Fall we will be registering the following age groups on-line:
Co-ed Baseball - ages 6-18 (birthdates between 9/1/2006 and 8/31/2019)
A. 6’s T-ball: birthdates 9/1/18-8/31/19
B. 7's coach pitch: birthdates 9/1/17-8/31/18
C. 8's kid pitch: birthdates 9/1/16-8/31/17
D. 9's Minors: birthdates 9/1/15-8/31/16
E. 10’s-11's Majors: birthdates 9/1/13-8/31/15
F. 12’s Intermediate: birthdates 9/1/12-8/31/13
G. 13-14’s Juniors: birthdates 9/1/10-8/31/12
H. 15-16 Seniors: birthdates 9/1/08-8/31/10
I. 17-18 Seniors: birthdates 9/1/06-8/31/08

IMPORTANT NOTES for New Baseball Players:
NEW PLAYER POLICY– League policy for baseball players new to the league: All new baseball players ages 10 and up must be evaluated before the start of the Fall 2025 season. This is to ensure the safety of players who are new to the league. Note— Some new & inexperienced 10 year old baseball players will be placed in the 9’s division if they cannot be safely placed on a 10-11's Majors team. Some new & inexperienced 12 year olds will be placed in the 10-11's Majors division if they cannot be safely placed on an Intermediate 50/70 team. Some new and inexperienced 13 year olds will be placed on an Intermediate 50/70 team if they can't be safely placed on a Juniors team.

B. Girls Softball –
8U Minors/Dragons - for beginners: birthdates 1/1/2016-12/31/2017
10U Minors: birthdates 1/1/2014-12/31/2015
12U Majors: birthdates 1/1/2012-12/31/2013
14U Juniors: birthdates 1/1/2010-12/31/2011
NOTES:
- If you're age 15 or 16 (birthdates in  2008 or 2009 ) and interested in playing please reach out to Softball Division Head Sarah Drake at sadie1243@gmail.com
- If your daughter is age 9 but a beginner, she will be placed in 8u Minors so she can develop her skills.

Please Note for ALL divisions:
1. When you register your child, you must do it in the designated age division as listed above. But if your child previously played in a division either above or below their age group and has WSLL Board approval to do so again, we will make any necessary adjustments AFTER registration closes.
2. Players NEW to the League may be placed in a lower age division.
3. A players' designated division may be changed by division head to ensure player safety.
