Fees

Registration Fees

Each player is required to pay a registration fee, which is used to cover most of the cost of player uniforms, team equipment, fields maintenance, umpires and administrative expenses, including League insurance costs and LL charter fees, scholarships, trophies and photographs. Sponsors provide additional support and underwrite the costs per player. Summer tournament fees cover significant additional costs of training and development, including use of indoor athletic facilities, tournament uniforms, and tournament registration fees. No fees in addition to the registration fee are assessed against players during any season. Fees listed are current.

Spring season 2010: $150 (unchanged since 2007)

Summer Tournament season 2009: $200 (unchanged since 2006)

Fall season 2009: $100 (unchanged since 2006)

No child will be denied the opportunity to play because of an inability to pay. Scholarships of part or the entirety of the registration fee are available. If you are requesting a scholarship please contact the Registrar at Info@WestSideBaseball.org for the Scholarship Code BEFORE going On-Line to register. Families who are financially unable to shoulder the entire registration fee are asked to enclose a portion of the fee.

Fields Contribution

In cooperation with The New York City Parks Department and with the support of other users, including WSSL and Collegiate School, West Side Little League has finally realized our dream of having a new dedicated youth baseball field and adjacent multi-use fields at 103rd and at 107th Streets in Riverside Park. West Side Little League pledged a significant portion of the funds for this project, and our final installments on that pledge were paid in 2006. Consider making a SPECIAL FIELD CONTRIBUTION to the League this year, earmarking funds to our fields fund for the maintenance and improvement of our other ballfields throughout the West Side (Riverside, Morningside, DeWitt Clinton and Central Parks).
