DATE CHANGE:
The Majors Tournament game against East Harlem, originally scheduled for Wednesday, July 1st, is postponed. It is rescheduled for Monday, July 6th at 5:30 pm at East Harlem's field - 121st Street and 5th Avenue in Marcus Garvey Park.
West Side's Majors Tournament Team lost its first game against North Riverdale in a 5-4 heartbreaker.
Their next contest is this Wednesday, July 1st at 5:30 up at Harlem's field, in Marcus Garvey Park at 121st Street & 5th Avenue.

ON-LINE REGISTRATION FOR WSLL FALL BALL OPENS JULY 20th AND ENDS AUGUST 23RD.
The Fall Season is scheduled to begin the weekend of September 12th/ 13th and end (weather permitting) the weekend of November 21st/22nd.
Registration will be On-Line ONLY through the WSLL website www.westsidebaseball.org
Fee is $100 and covers team shirt and hat, equipment, balls, insurance and umpire fees. There are no trophies or photos in Fall Ball. Players must bring their own mitts.

Please Note that Returning Players have priority in Fall Ball placement and that all placement is subject to Field Availability and Permits. Field assignment will be made once Permits are received from the Parks Department (possibly as late as the end of August) and team assignments and schedules may not be available until after Labor Day weekend.
This year we are offering Fall Ball for the following age groups:
8's Hardball - Co-ed, Coach Pitch. For new and returning 8 year olds
9's Hardball - Co-ed, Kid Pitch. For returning 9's. New 9's must be assessed before placement in this division and may be placed in 8's Coach Pitch Hardball.
Middles/Majors Hardball - Co-ed, Kid Pitch. For returning 10-12's and New 11's and 12's. New 10's must be assessed before placement in this division and may be placed in 9's Hardball.
Juniors Hardball - Co-ed, Kid Pitch. For returning 13-14 and New 14 year olds. New 13's must be assessed before placement in this division and may be placed in Middles-Majors.
Seniors Hardball - Returning 15-18 year olds (high schoolers only) and new 16-18 year olds. New 15 year olds must be assessed before placement in this division and may be placed in Juniors.
(PLEASE NOTE: Juniors and Seniors Hardball may be combined if enrollment necessitates it.)
Girls Softball - Kid Pitch. For returning 9-14 year olds and new 10-14 year olds. New 9's must be assessed before placement in this division and may be placed in 8's Coach Pitch Hardball.
