1. March 21st -- FIELD PREP DAY Saturday 9am at 72nd and 77th & Riverside -- for 6's,7's, 8's, 9's Softball, Challengers and Juniors and Seniors Hardball.
RAIN OR SHINE! so we can unload a truckload of field supplies. Meet at the brick storage room at the north end of the Classic Playground just south of the 77th street fields in Riverside Park. Bring a plastic garbage bag and wear work gloves or old gloves. Kids are welcome but cannot use rakes or shovels. We will be picking up stones and debris, spreading grass seed, re-building the mound at 72nd street. Plan on being there for about two hours. The more the merrier (and the sooner we finish!).
2. March 22nd -- Field Prep and Field Prep Instruction for 103rd & Riverside -- Sunday, 9am for Middles and Majors Families and Coaches. Help clean up the dugout, storeroom, and pick up garbage and debris. Coach tutorial on Care of North Field 9AM.
3. March 28th -- Deadline for Division Heads to give Rob Forman their Volunteer Forms.
3. March 30th -- Deadline for Coaches to contact their team members by e-mail or phone.
4. March 31st, TUESDAY -- Equipment Pick Up PS 199 Cafeteria -- 70th street between West End and Amsterdam.
5:30· 6:00 Division Heads or their representatives MUST ARRIVE
6:00-8:30 Coaches or their representatives MUST pick up equipment bag, two boxes of balls, ice packs, bases (in some divisions) and box of uniforms-so BRING A CART! AND DON'T BE LATE!
5. April 4th-5th -- FIRST PRACTICE GAMES FOR ALL DIVISIONS (NO UNIFORMS)
6. April 11-12th -- SECOND PRACTICE GAMES FOR ALL DIVISIONS (NO UNIFORMS)
6. April 18th-19th -- OPENING DAY! ALL TEAMS in UNIFORMS
15. April 27th -- Complete Rosters Due for Trophy Order -- Division Heads must send spreadsheets or team lists to Registrar and League President.
16. May 2nd-3rd -- PHOTO DAY WEEKEND
17. May 23rd-24th -- MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND -- NO SCHEDULED GAMES
18. June 13-14th -- LAST GAMES OF SPRING SEASON -- Trophies distributed by individual coaches to their teams.
19. June 14th -- 103rd & Riverside -- North field -- Sunday -- SUMMER TOURNAMENT TEAM WORKOUTS begin after last game of regular season. Details to follow.
