REGISTRATION for the West Side Little League Spring 2010 season will open TUESDAY DECEMBER 1st, 2009 and close on SUNDAY JANUARY 31st, 2010.
REGISTRATION IS ON-LINE ONLY via the West Side Little League website: www.westsidebaseball.org.
The Registration Fee is $150 which must be paid by credit card. The fee helps cover the cost of uniforms (jersey, baseball pants, socks and cap) team equipment, balls, professional umpires, field prep supplies, charter and insurance. Players must provide their own mitts
Full and partial SCHOLARSHIPS are available. If you are requesting a scholarship please contact the Registrar at info@westsidebaseball.org for the Scholarship Code BEFORE going On-Line to register.
Roster slots are limited. Returning WSLL players who register ON TIME and ON-LINE receive priority over new players but we recommend that everyone register as early as possible.

CO-ED HARDBALL
6's Tee ball - Sunday mornings at 77th & Riverside.
7's Coach Pitch (Underhand) - Saturdays at 77th & Riverside 8:30-2 pm.
8's Coach Pitch (Overhand) - Sundays at 72nd and/or 77th & Riverside 8:30-6:30 pm.
9's Kid Pitch - Saturdays at 72nd & Riverside 8:30-6:30 plus one Friday Evening game a week.
MIDDLES (10-11's) Kid Pitch - Saturdays and Sundays 8:30-4:00 at 103rd & Riverside South.
MAJORS (11-12's) Kid Pitch - Saturdays and Sundays 8:30-6:30 at 103rd & Riverside North.
Please note that Division placement of 11 year olds is made by the League based on player evaluations and coach assessment.
JUNIORS (13-14) Kid Pitch - Saturdays North Meadow Central Park 8:30-6:00.
SENIORS (15-18) Kid Pitch - Saturdays North Meadow--Inter-league Play.
CHALLENGERS (7-18+ plus: if still in high school) for Children with Special Needs - Sunday afternoons 77th & Riverside.
GIRLS SOFTBALL
Please Note: Player Placement in Softball will be made by the Division Head based on Player Evaluation and/or Coach Assessment.
8-10 Minors Girls Coach Pitch Saturday 9-12 at Morningside Park (112th & Morningside).
9-12 Majors Girls Kid Pitch Saturday afternoons at 77th & Riverside OR Morningside.
11-14 Juniors Girls Kid Pitch Saturday and/or Sundays 4pm at 103rd South and Travel (Interleague).
12-17 Senior Girls Kid Pitch Saturday and/or Sundays 4pm at 103rd South and Travel ( Interleague).
CALENDAR: Games WILL be played on MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND this Spring.
April 10, 11 - First Game--ALL Divisions NO UNIFORMS
April 17, 18 - Second Game--ALL Divisions NO UNIFORMS
April 24, 25 - OPENING DAY--ALL TEAMS FULL UNIFORM
May 1-2 - Photo Day Weekend
June 12, 13 - LAST GAMES of Spring Season Trophies
June 15 - Start of Summer Tournament Season - 9-10 & 11-12 Hardball
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS:
1. Division Head: Needed for 6's Tee Ball. Contact info@westsidebaseball.org if you are the parent of an incoming 6 year old and are interested in running this division.
2. Coach and Assistant Coach: One (of each) per team. Please Indicate Interest on Registration form.
3. Volunteer Umpires: 1-2 per team. 6's, 7's, 8's, Minors Girls Softball and Challengers ONLY. Please Indicate Interest on Registration Form.
4. Field Prep: 1-2 per team ALL Divisions. Indicate interest to Coach and/or Division Head.
5. Equipment Packing: Please contact info@westsidebaseball.org if interested.
6. Sponsors: If you know of someone who would like to Sponsor a team or would like to help recruit sponsors please contact Sponsor Coordinator Sandra Echols at sandraechols@gmail.com.
TEAM SPONSORSHIP:
Companies, Families and Individuals can sponsor a West Side Little League team for $800 and get their name and/or logo on the back of that team's jerseys.
Sponsors can request a specific team or division and will receive a jersey and a commemorative plaque with their team's photo.
Sponsorships are critical to the League's ability to offer scholarships and cover the costs of running the League. You can sponsor when you register On-Line using PayPal OR go to the Fundraising Kiosk on our Home Page at www.westsidebaseball.org.
