The West Side Little League will be conducting online elections for our Board as part of the online registration process beginning on December 1st 2007, and ending on January 31st, 2008. After the close of registration on January 31st, election results will be automatically tallied, and the results sent to the league-wide community. The names of current Board Members, along with their current Officer Titles as indicated, will be on the registration form, along with the names of other interested parties who wish to be on the Board.
If you are interested in serving on the Board of the West Side Little League, please contact us at info@westsidebaseball.org BY THURSDAY NOVEMBER 15TH 2007. In your email, please submit a brief written statement of your qualifications and background, and what you anticipate your role of contribution would be. We are looking for people who have TIME TO DEVOTE TO THIS, relevant experience, and a commitment to help the League as a whole.
Emails received after November 15th WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. We need adequate time to add additional names to the online ballot, before registration opens. The West Side Little League is for our community, and this election process will ensure that our community is fairly represented and endorsed, so it is important that you take the time both to vote, during online registration, and to consider now whether or not you are willing and able to participate as a Board Member, and have something you can contribute to the continued successful functioning of our League.
