West Side Opens Tournament Season!

This past weekend, WSLL opened the Tournament Season in style, fielding 4 teams -- all with great potential!

Please join our players and their families and cheer our teams on, as we battle in both the Cal Ripken Tournament, and the District 23 Tournament.

The WSLL 9-10s defeated Harlem in first round tournament action 4-0 at the Downtown Little League field on a beautiful sunny perfect day for baseball. David Kagan pitched a 1 hit complete game shutout striking out 10 Harlem batters and the Westies defense did not allow a Harlem base runner past second base!

Their next game is: Saturday, July 10th at 1:30 at Harlem's field on 121st St. & 5th Ave

The WSLL 11-12s Red Team defeated PSLL 6-5 in a come-from-behind victory. Word is out that we have a solid team and some powerful hitters!

Their next game is: Tuesday, July 6th at 5:30 PM. We'll be playing on Harlem's field on 121st St. & 5th Ave.

The WSLL 11-12s Blue Team lost in a close game to Pelham Parkway 7-6. The team played well, and expects to be victorious in their next outing.

Their next game is: Friday, July 2nd at 5:30 PM is at Reiss Field, exit 8E/Allerton Avenue off of the Bronx River Parkway.

The WSLL Juniors lost 5-3 but it was a game they felt they could have won...and easily. West Side almost escaped when Kingsbridge had bases loaded with two outs – but an infield error opened the door for the 2 run difference in the game. The players are pumped; they played competitively and can’t wait to get back out there next week.

Their next game is: Tuesday, July 6th at 5:30 in Inwood, in Inwood Hill Park, W 207 St. & Seaman Ave.

Join us for some very exciting baseball!
