The Beacon High School baseball team is returning to the finals to defend their title! Normally, that would not be such a thrill for most of us but 9 players on the Blue Demons are present or past members of West Side Little League!!
Our own Tomas Farrell (Senior Division - Nationals) will probably be the starting pitcher. Tomas had an awesome game last Friday against Graphic Arts, going three for four with two runs scored and three RBIs. Tomas also pitched a seven inning complete game for a 15-2 win over Graphic Arts.
Also on the team are WSLL Senior Division: Paul Lopez, Brian Handell, Junior Divisino: Gian Stone, Alumni WSLL Players: Max Varriale, Alec Grotenstein, Kevin Growick, Lucian Maldonato and Angel Cabrera.
Come out to Keyspan Park on Friday, June 13th at 4:00 to cheer them on as they take on top-seeded A. P. Randolph in a bid to become back-to-back champions!

We can ride the Cyclone and have a hot dog at Nathan's after the game... in that order :)
